Stochastic homogenization : from mathematical analysis to modeling, simulations, and uncertainty quantification
Orateur : Antoine Gloria, LJLL Sorbonne Université
Résumé : In this talk I’ll report on some recent progress in the mathematical analysis of stochastic homogenization, and its potential applications in mechanical sciences. I will address in particular the issue of modeling (both in a linear and nonlinear setting), questions related to simulations, as well as questions on fluctuations of observables and uncertainty quantification. If time allows, I’ll mention the question of the long-time homogenization of the wave equation.
